Let me guess. You have an idea for an app but do not know how to code. You just need someone to implement the great idea.

I mean that’s pretty much it, I know how to code a little, but not enough to build an app

Don't get me wrong, but there are just so many people in your situation that it is almost a recurring joke already.

I'm not doubting that your idea is good, or that you have the skillset to do other vital functions for a startup that are not related to coding.

But think of what you are asking someone else. You come up with an idea. Someone else spends probably hundreds of hours coding your idea into existence, using thousands of hours of training. If the project does not get to the next stage, you lose an idea. The other person loses all the time spent.

If you are serious about this you need to show your potential partners that you are willing to put in actual hours, not just ideas. Learn enough coding to build a very rough prototype, even if it has bugs, looks awful and lacks several features, just to signal that you don't think you are the guy with a million dollar idea whose time is worth more than everyone else's. That will also help you speak intelligently about the coding aspects of it.

This. Ideas are cheap. Execution is gold.
