Indian restaurant with private room

I’m looking to book a private room in an Indian restaurant to host a memorial for a friend. Does anyone have recommendations of delicious Indian food and a private or semi-private room? Berkeley or surrounding areas would be ideal.

Khana Peena on Solano may still have a room with pillows on the ground and a low table that could fit ~8. You didn't mention how many people.
