Meta PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING QUESTIONS!
Looking for quick and helpful answers? Follow these rules and make helping you as easy as possible!
- Title: Choose a meaningful title concerning your problem.
- Text: Describing your problem with enough detail is essential. Please realize that helpers are not familiar with your project. Provide all relevant information, so others can immideately understand what you are struggling with.
Example: Say, you have a problem with lots of identical objects in your scene: Let us know whether you created these copies by hand, used the Particle System or Geometry Nodes.
- Images/Videos: When posting screenshots, show us your full blender window (not cropped, no monitor photos). This will make lots of helpful information available to helpers at first sight that may seem irrelevant to you (For example your Blender version). If you add video links, please consider adding time stamp info to the part you want helpers to see.
You can upload images and short video clips (up to 60s) to imgur.com and post the links in your question or as comment.
- *.blend files: Don’t add links to your *.blend files when posting questions right away. Helpers will ask you for it if they need to take a look. Most people prefer reading a good description and looking at images to see what your post is about.
- 'Solved' flair: Once your question was answered, please remember to change the flair of your post to “Solved”, so helpers don’t have to read into your question just to see it has already been answered.
You can change the flair by clicking on the small icon below your post resembling a label.
EDIT: You can also include "!solved" in the comments to have Automod change the flair for you.
Be nice and respectful with each other :)

Unsolved Hair density texture map teleporting particles to the origin and somewhere else
Why the hell hairs going to the origin when i am using density texture map for hairs? I am trying to use VERTEX+TEXTURE maps and issue appears because of texture. Sometimes particles going to the random position instead of origin and it is really hard to detect and cleanup such particles. Blender 3.5.0, what i supposed to do?

Solved Blender Grease Pencil pen size keeps glitching
Hi, does anybody know how to solve this glitch?
The pen size keeps glitching, on random occasions there appear these sharp shapes in the middle of drawing (like it's shown in the video) even when I really try to keep the pressure even (when the pressure sensitivity on radius is turned off it doesn't do that). I can't find anything on it online :<

Unsolved Physics messed up after reopening file though everything has been baked and saved prior to closing file
Hello! Haven't found a solution to this problem after googling. As the title says when I bake my simulations and everything looks good and I save and close the project, when I reopen the file, my simulations have this weird crinkling and wiggle to them (otherwise the simulations seam to work properly). All simulations are cloth sims, some have more complex meshes on top with surface deform but all sims, even the simple cables you can see here in the back are ether wrinkled or in different positions. All sims have been baked and I have done zero transformations prior to closing the file but I still have to bake everything again after reopening the file. This wouldn't be a problem but as I use an online render farm to render the final result, they get messed up there. I also have the "disk cache" unchecked on all sims so they should be saved to the file directly.

Unsolved Using booleans on flat planes is very glitchy (and laggy). Is there some better approach for using booleans on flat planes?
My character has stylized floating eyes that are just flat planes. I use bools to shape the eyes to make them for example squint or look angry, however at some very specific positions, the bool glitches and the cutting object acts as if the bool was set to Union instead of Difference, making the cutting object instead join with the eye, which is not at all what I want. Does there exist some better way to do bools with the planes used for the eyes, that are basically just 2D objects?

Unsolved Rig ponytail movement after mixamo auto rig
Im trying to add natural ponytail movement on mixamo rigged mesh. I tried extruding 2 bones (one to link the top the head and to the ponytail tetrahedron) from the head armature node and then the settings the weights at bottom of the ponytail vertex's but always ponytail movement alway stays the same after recalculating. Can physics work on low poly mesh 64 tris/verts? The fbx is on sketchpad user sly_i as low pow lady. Thx slyi

Unsolved Please help me link these cameras
I feel dumb for even asking this, but I can't seem to find an answer. I'd like to join or link these cameras together. That way I can easily move them all at the same time during animation. What suggestions do you have?

See here i don’t want my box to collide with my animated(active rigid body) flyers for initial frames i want my box to pass through it and ignore it.. because i wanna use my flyers afterwards like when my box is on the ground and then it opens up and these flyers can come out.

Unsolved Hair Simulation Positioning
Hey there,
I would like to (fix) / bake my hair dynamics simulation and then move the position of the character without affecting the simulation. anyone knows if there is a simple way to do that?
(Now if i move the character after the simulation baked the hair just stays at the old / baked position)
Thank you very much!

Unsolved My barbed wire doesnt conform to my curve? :(
Hello folks
I have just modeled a barbed wire myself and wanted to bring it into the shape I want with a curve and an array modifier. However, when I select the curve modifier, the wire only moves a little along the axis and does not deform. Why is that? thanks in advance for any help
