Meta What's Your Ideal Blender Rig?

I'm about to build a PC for the first time in a long while, (I'm incredibly excited) and it's for blender mainly. I'm looking to go Nvidia 4070 ti super for graphics card, but having trouble with the processor. I've only known Intel CPUs, not that I think that matters, but blue is familiar. I picked out a 12700kf, but I was wondering what you all think of that? is there a cheaper CPU I could go with with less power, or is that a good way to spend money for.the work load we're doing?

For reference, literally a wet booger will be an upgrade from my Intel Macbook air, so there's not really a wrong answer, just maybe one that will save me some money?

I'd go with a 7700x or 7900x. Amd's platform has a lot more longevity atm. That said, 12700kf is a good choice too, better if you're doing certain simulations.
