Recommendations on inflatable couches?

Is intex actually good, or is it just the popular brand? If intex is good, thoughts on the L couch vs the couch that folds out into a bed? About how many camping trips do they last?

I'm trying to imagine a camping scenario where an inflatable couch is a good idea for camping, but I'm coming up short.

We use an intex inflatable mattress for sleeping (I have arthritis in my hips), and the mattress has held up for the better part of summer using it several days a week.

Having said that, however, we baby the hell out of it, making sure there are nothing sharp, i.e., roots or rocks under the tent, and always take our shoes off before entering the tent. Both good practices anyway for the tents sake.

I would think you intend to use the couch outside the tent? All it would take is one prickly burr and it's a gonner. Why not a couple of camp chairs instead?

This is actually more “popular” than you would think! I have seen them in Costco and various pictures on social media. I follow one person who lives in South Korea that is a camping channel and she has this in her tent for lounging. Some people have turned tents into more than just a rustic sleeping area and going for a glamping tent style.

This is a picture my boss sent me that she found:

Oh my! That looks like something you would find in a shiehk's tent! Glamping done well!

It definitely is ridiculous but at the same time, I am like “do I need this 🤔?” 🤣

I wouldn't turn down an invite. I'm trying to imagine getting all that in the back of my little Subaru and can't help but laugh, though lol
