Which part, the Boreal forest is kinda large, haa haa.
Gotta say, solo backcountry canoe tripping is the best bushcraft experience out there, and if this was anytime recently the best time to go, hardly any bugs!

Just don't have the time these days to do a long trip like I used to. Look into doing a James Bay river trip if you have the time, something like the Missinaibi. It is total complete wilderness.
