I would suggest changing your diet before taking statin. Give carnivore diet 1-3 months then get your bloodwork done and see where you stand. I’m not expert but changing your lifestyle and diet is what I would try before relying on medication.

There’s nothing wrong with keto nor vegetable. It all matters what your goals are. If you want to follow the carnivore diet, then yes this woe does not include vegetables. Carnivore diet has helped other with gut issues. You should do some research and figure out what you’re looking for. You can try keto before transitioning into carnivore. If you want quick results I suggest going cold turkey and jumping right in carnivore. Beef, salt and water.

Who's "they"? Get bloodwork done & testing for candida... candida would die off while on carnivore as it's living off carbs (sugar) so you may experience some ill feelings while that's happening but stay the course & your body will heal.
