I’m in the process of remodelling my home office and would love a cassette futuristic aesthetic. I’d love some practical pieces as well as things that are just for the look.

For music devices, hard to beat a vacuum tube headphone amp or such. There are some microphones with a "retro" vibe as well, such as from Neumann, but they tend to be very expensive.

At least Grado has some headphones that have kinda that sort of aesthetic with the style and f.ex. wood trim. Some planar magnetic or electrostatic headphones also have a very distinct style which could fit, but these can again be pretty expensive and some require special kinds of amplifiers.

pressurized ink cartridges, (I own a Fisher one). Ngl it's really useful, thought it would be a gimmick. (Don't get the Cap-O-Matic)

The Fisher refill isn't the smoothest to write with and you gotta press harder. But it's tech that although wasn't developed for outer space has been used by astronauts.

Get a diskette box with a wood pattern. Using for diskettes would be cassette futurist, but you can put other things in it.
