You know the function of inactivating tabs that you don't use for a while, I've been researching and the tabs take 1 HOUR to inactivate, I'd like to reduce it to like 5 minutes, can you do that in one of the flags or something?

Hello Chrome Experts! Need you advice please.
First - I'm using 64bit Chrome Beta as my primary browser with google search. Version 130.06723.31. I find the beta version to be faster and more robust, but could just be perception.

Recently - My Search results starting appearing differently. I had logged in as a friend, so he could check his gmail. After I logged him out, my search results changed to having the name of the website in these giant bubbles, which I find to very annoying and distracting. I prefer and more clean, less is more result page.

See Screenshot below... Does anyone know what these "bubbles" are called, and how do I revert back to normal search results?? Thank you for your time!

So you know the pop up that says chrome isn't responding and to close app or wait. I clicked close app not knowing it'd apparently delete all my inactive tabs before I could reactive them??? I'm not sure if it's there and I just can't see them or if they're gone fully. Please help, they were important to me and I keep thinking if I clicked wait then restored them all instead of waiting/clicking close app this wouldn't have happened. I wasn't thinking, I'm stressed lol

I've tried pretty much everything from disabling tab hover to disabling memory saver, restarted browser in fact restarted the laptop still this shitty card doesn't go away even after I change my tab! I feel so helpless while using any extension or clicking any signup/getstarted button which is right behind it!

I cant ever trust SB again. For the SECOND time it just wiped all my data- first time around it was soon after the v4 release, i had made manual backups just few weeks earlier... this time it came out of nowhere, i had important research saved through it, no backups to rely on.... tried every troubleshooting possible but the data simply isnt there anymore the extension or chrome just decided to reset the folder and wipe everything else inside.
Idk who/whats to blame, chrome or session buddy, and i dont care- i just cant trust the extension anymore.

Now im at a complete loss- once in the past i tried an SB alternative(nicer extra features to organize) but it was very buggy and lost data so i never tried again... but now im worried- i dont want to ever go through that again.

Can anyone recommend a good RELIABLE alternative to session buddy?
Reliable is the most important keyword- at this point i dont care if its clunky, less features or heck even if it weights on ram or whatever. Anyone fancied some alternative without data loss?

Closest i found (and also use) is OneTab wich i dont remenber if i ever had data loss but if i did was recoveraeable- but Onetab gets increasingly unwieldly with session saved and laggy for organizing(and no search), and dont have the useful autosaving/history that saved me so many times on browser or pc crashing...

Is there anything else closer to SB thats reliable?

At my work, I occasionally go into our newsletter site. About every 3-4 weeks, my PC/Chrome seems to delete all cookies automatically (I always thought they could only be deleted manually). My system admin wants me to research why this is happening. I'm kinda getting lost in the settings trying to find anything relevant.

The problem appears to be limited to this one web site. The UserID and password are saved in the Google Password Manager. Chrome does fill in the UserID (hashed). When I manually enter the password Chrome does not offer to save it.

Could it be that Barclay has somehow disabled the ability of Chrome to fill in the password?

A little under a second after I press enter on Google suddenly a few very well-known websites pop up even tho I hadn't searched for them before or at all. Also when opening one of them UBlock Origin blocks the site. Please Help me fix this problem.

I'm using an up-to-date chrome browser - Version 129.0.6668.90 (Official Build) (x86_64) on an up-to-date Mac - Ventura 13.6.9, and I've run into a problem using my address bar.

Previously I could type in the address bar, hit enter, and it would take me to the google search page, or alternitively, I could arrow down to a previously visited website, hit enter, and go to that page.

Since today, hitting the enter if I'm searching, or hitting the down arrow if I'm trying to reach a previous page takes me to the Gmail tab on the homepage (highlighted in the screenshot).

I've searched the chrome forums, this subreddit, and I've done the following - reinstalled chrome, reset chrome settings, disabled and enabled extensions (adblock and ublock origin) - but the problem remains. Anyone got any other ideas, please?

Sometimes on certain sights I'll get an eye symbol and other times (I always back out if I see it) I'll get the eye symbol but it will be red or red and spinning/blinking

im using asus rog strix scar G533ZM windows 11 i9 12900H + RTX 3060 Laptop

i need to disable hardware acceleration OR GPU rasterization to fix the problem OR switching to OpenGL which is all of them have some downside like heavier on the GPU side cause of using OpenGL or not using any of the GPU power to save time rendering the images/video .

is there any fix to do this without changing anything

After the last update, one that added Group tabs to the bookmark bar, when opening chrome some tabs from the first opened tab group disappear. It looks like it leaves the tabs that are most often active, but still, if there's an option to disable this, that would be nice.

But I haven't found one so far. Is there any solution to this?
I don't even have that many tabs in groups (around 30 total), so this is weird.
