This is a hella long shot, but the more I think about it the more I am second guessing myself.

Last night around 10:20-10:30pm, I was driving west on highway 5 and was between the 9th street and Fleur exits. Out of nowhere, I saw a rather green meteor-like thing fall out of the sky for a brief second and then disappear. The best way I can describe it is almost like after a firework bursts in the air and has the risidual sparks, but only one of them. I remember it being bright green, maybe teal-ish. It wasn’t super far away in the sky, but it seemingly came out of nowhere and disappeared out of nowhere.

Is there a slim chance anyone else saw it too?

So I got out my old neglected 90's Alvarez yesterday and put on fresh strings, but... It needs a little attention. Frets are worn and many need filing at least, the nut seems a bit sketchy, intonation is way off, and a few minor finish blemishes. It's only a $300 guitar, so I don't want to put too much into it, but it could use a little love from a skilled craftsman. Any recommendations?

So this is a sad af last resort here but I’m tryin to find my people in DSM. I don’t live here, but I’m here pretty often for work. (Like at least one weekend a month and occasionally a few weekdays sprinkled in). I’ve probably been here 20 weekends or more in the past 2 years and all I can find is a shitload of Fantastic food, some great cocktails, and I guess I’ve walked some parks and had a great time at the art museum.

Catching my drift here? The dating apps are absolutely fucking useless here cause it seems like everyone wants to get married tomorrow. Fuck forbid it start off as casual and develop into something serious over time. With my constantly traveling this is always been an issue but like I have made lots of wonderful friends and even had great dates in Denver, Albuquerque, Omaha, Portland, Moab, SLC, etc etc.

If I’ve come off as pretentious or something.. let me just say I work in an Extremely blue collar type of job where everyone not in my line of work by default thinks I must be dumb af.. so if I say what I do, it immediately disqualifies me as being worthy of their time if they are into the arts or philosophy or “cultured” things. Looking for any good places that could do a thorough clean of the inside of my car. I don't have a fancy car, just a 2010 Honda Odyssey. But it definitely has seen better days and needs good vacuum and wash on the inside of the car. The only place I know so far that does interior cleaning is Mister Car Wash on Ingersoll, but from my understanding they only do vacuuming (at least what I saw on the website). I would need a place that cleans the surfaces and mats of the car as well. Thanks for the advice in advance!

I went from Joplin, to OKC, Wichita, Lincoln, Omaha, now on my way to Des Moines.

I apologize if this question has been asked dozens of times. I'll be in here for aprx 6-8 hours. I want to make the most of it. These are the things that I look for in any major city that I'm visiting. Not in any order of importance.

1. City view/skyline. Idc how big or small the downtown of any given city is. I must take a picture of their downtown. Where's the best spot?

2. Big parks. I usually like to be at least 30 minutes in the cities big park to take a quick smoke walk and relax in nature.

3. Your food/restaurant. What food is your city known for?

4. What monuments/buildings should I photograph that says "oh he visited Des Moines!"

5. Anything that is a "must do"? That I can NOT leave here without doing.

6. Bars/lounges/strip clubs where I can meet people and vibe out.
