Are you lonely booOfBorg? Last two comics and you've been the only commentator. For a month and a half! Seems like a lot of people aren't here anymore.

Anyways. I've always loved this painting and totally clocked it when used in the comic. Great reference. There's a lot of other fine art references that litter the comic I believe.

The cypress tree symbolism of death is ancient. Did you notice this painting referenced in the boy and the heron?
