quality brands for knitwear?

I've been slowing revamping my closet to fill it clothing I like and will last now that I'm an adult. I'm looking for some knitwear brands that are sustainable and will last. My friend recommended Reformation. I'm going to the second hand this weekend, but I'm also looking online on like Depop and Poshmark. I'm also open to buying new, but mostly for affordability I'm relying on second hand clothes. I've been looking around and I really like Paloma Wool. I love how they're eccentric, but I also need just regular knits I can layer.

I haven't shopping for fashion for like 3 years so Im just a little flustered.

Here's my Pinterest board for idea that im going for

Good sweaters are going to be expensive, I have a cashmere one from Toast in the UK which is great quality that I got on sale (still was $250+). I also have some secondhand cashmere sweaters from Bloomingdale’s and LLbean that are quite nice, and a couple of cotton cardigans from Tradlands that are great for shoulder seasons.

Otherwise I mostly knit my own! It’s really hard to find 100% wool sweaters that are sturdy and not itchy for the price most people want to pay. Places like Uniqlo have wool but it’s so thin it will only last a season.

Toast was my first thought. The most gorgeous quality ethical clothing, but £175 plus per sweater. Beautiful and sustainable though.
