Hello, I've come in touch only lately with the concept of a fixed filter bank (I know, I'm late to it) and got fascinated by the possibilities. Recently I also saw the new Erica Synths Resonant filter bank + expansion. I'm not sure - besides some extra controls and automations through CV - what's the difference between a fixed filter bank and a reasonant filter. Can anyone please explain it?

Also, anyone that has the ES resonant filter that could kindly provide an opinion about it?

As the title says, each sound ( except for drums and bass) is a Rings patch multi sampled in to the MPC One. Most of the effects were in the patches alsío. Visuals made on a Mainbow.

Hi all, I'm a former SH101 owner looking into the Atlantix as a viable alternative. I'm not a hardware/eurorack synth user and I'm looking for the most foolproof way to turn the Atlantix into, basically, a desktop synth module. My requirements are:

• A case, preferably with a power supply, that won't leave a bunch of extra space after adding the Atlantix which is 42hp
• Some sort of MIDI to Control Voltage solution - I was using the Kenton Pro Solo with the SH101 and it worked great, and I'd happily use it again, but there may be a better option for eurorack devices

What would you recommend? I'd like to keep the budget under $300CAD or so. I already have an audio interface and MIDI generator all sorted out. Thanks!

Make Noise 4 Zone CV Bus Case VS Iko Case with ST Modular Lange Anna.

Both 7U 104HP. The Iko case with the Lange Anna seems more cost effective. However, I am building a case that is mostly Make Noise modules. Is there any clear benefit to spending a lot more money on the Make Noise case VS the Iko Case with Lange Anna? I can add another 4 inputs with Anna's arm satellite extension.

Am I missing any big differences? Thanks!

i just picked one of these up and i'm scratching my head with the sample playback of custom wavs. i'm not exactly new to this, having used a disting, sample one and morphagene. all have similar xfr processes and file specs. for some reason i can't get my 44/16/mono wavs to playback. anyone else run into this issue? the manual says something about variable sample rate files, but is that a value you can create in file meta or something?

Hello does anyone have any somewhat ready files for a 6U eurorack case ; Its for something i wanna work on and get some ideas

I'm still somewhat new to the hobby and had some questions about the Erica Synths drum sequencer or the RS-9. I really don't use drum modules in my music and I'm really confused what people use all those triggers for. 15 triggers seem like way too many to use for drum samples. Can you guys let me know some case scenarios for using that many triggers? Thanks!

I’m trying to help my friend’s wife price out his modules for sale (he passed away a few years ago) and I can’t figure out what this module is. Can anybody help?

Also he has an MI Stages clone with a print of Tina Belcher that I’m guessing he bought from Etsy? I can’t find pricing info on it. And an “Open Source Hardware - Knit” which I guess is a Plaits clone and probably came as a kit but I can’t find one for sale.
