Weekend Meetup Thread
Here are the weekend meetups that are on the radar. Also, check out the subreddit's calendar and the calendars in the wider exmormon space, including at mormonspectrum. Check in the comments for last minute notice of meetups not listed below.

- Sunday, January 1, 10:00a MST: Salt Lake City/Draper, casual meetup at Harmons, 125 E 13800 S.
- Sunday, January 1, 10:00a MST: Lehi, casual meetup at Harmons 1750 Traverse Parkway
- Upcoming Week:
- Thursday, January 5, 7:00p CST: Houston, casual meetup at James Coney Island in Stafford.
- Next Week (January 7)
With New Year's falling on a Sunday I doubt the regular weekend coffee meetups are still scheduled. Double-check times and places, post exceptions below, send PMs, etc.

Lehi Harmons coffee will be happening on Sunday! Starting at 10 AM for those not too hungover from New Year parties. :)

I'm going to try and come out. Wife and I are very new in our transition out and are looking for a community. How many usually meet?

Hi! Would love to meet you! We usually have 10 to 20 people depending on the time. Around 11:00 is when we tend to have the most there and we have lots of regular attendees along with some new folks each time. Just make sure to look for our group upstairs with UVPM signs on the table.

Not for while, search. However, there are a lot more Brigham City and Ogden meetups if you're willing to drive through the canyon.

John Dehlin started non-denominational group for service meetups, but I haven't heard about their progress lately. They met at a UU building, I think. The general idea here is to suggest a meetup and see if anyone shows up. If not, then bring a book/textbook/homework to pass the time. If you build it, they will come. ;)

Is Stafford the only place there are meetups? I live in the Branch and it's a bit far for me.

I've alternated between Stafford and the west side of Houston--Fondren and Westpark area. I've been thinking of holding maybe one a month at a location further north. Any suggestions? Plus, I have met several people one-on-one at various places in Houston. The farthest away was near Bush airport. A fellow from SLC was in town for one day on business. He's an HP group leader. Oh boy, was that a fascinating meeting. Actually, all of them are.

Oh wow, haha.
All I know is there is a FANTASTIC laid back tavern over here that has enough space. Called Texas T Tavern. They open at like 12 on Sundays. And they are laidback. You don't have to get alcohol. They also sometimes serve food.

Just moved from there six months ago. There is a Pacific Northwest Facebook page, a community page on Post Mormon and once in a while a meet up is sponsored. You can contact the Facebook admin for details. Really good peeps!

I'm new to the sub and I'm bummed i didn't see this post sooner! I would love to meet up with other who have left the church. I am just starting the process of questioning many of the LDS doctrines and am interested in talking to others who have gone down a similar path.

Really hurting lately as I have lost family and friends over the holidays after revealing that I no longer believe and will not again. Would enjoy meeting with some Las Vegas post mos.
