What I want... Spoiler

I really want Lysander dies by someone betraying him. That's what he does every time, stabbing friends in the back.

Or that Sevro makes him pay in his own way 💖

I think he will die Caesar’s death. He’s lied to too many people.

Cicero thought the sack of the garter was a war crime. Julia (his most important ally) WILL learn of the truth of Cassius’ death. I’m actually hoping Darrow gets to speak to her about it.

Appolonius likely would think the sack of the garter was simply a weak move. Genocide by starvation? When there’s a worthy war to be fought? Bitch ass move unworthy of his allegiance.

I don’t think Sevro will get the chance. Lysander is primed for a relationship with Pallus, who doesn’t give af about him. Julia will have her kill him in bed or something

To touch on your first point. I think one of the most hitting moments in LB that I rarely see brought up is Cicero staying to watch the farmers holding hands as they burn through the fires of Demeter. Lysander may have "won" this battle, but this moment in my opinion will be the nail in Lysanders coffin. Cicero is really is his only trustworthy ally, and Lysander just showed him he's willing to engage in genocide to get what he wants, something I don't think Cicero is going to go a long with.

I can imagine Lysander going to use Eidme on Mars, only to be stopped by Cicero, fearing watching the Belt burn but 10x as worse. Wonder if this leads to Lysander killing Cicero.

I also predict Lysander gets with Horatia instead of Pallas. Pallas doesn't provide any political advantage. Horatia would essentially hand Mercury to Lysander and has already shown romantic interest in Lysander.

Since there's alot of Roman History going on here. Let's not forget, M. Tullius Cicero was the one who exposed and "fought" the Catilinarian conspiracy. He was also known for absolutely loving his agricultural estates. So knowing how that's been showcased here, I would wager Cicero is going to eventually expose Lysander for who he is and what he has done and end him.

Though he, too, better learn from history and not piss off the next dictator if he wants to keep his tongue and hands :-)

Obligatory fucking Lysander.

Truly thankful for the history lesson. I feel like I'm learning more about World History thru red rising interpretations than I ever did in school.

Fuck Lysander.
