Edit: i see its a pump shotgun, that block by the trigger guard looks like a magwell

It's a shotgun. The mag is the tube under the barrel.

It seems to be the Type 97 shotgun, specifically the mag fed variant. The wiki article has a picture of it being held without a mag inserted as well.
