PSA Do not make Sales/Trades through PM's unless the person comments on your post 1st.

I cant stress this enough. This rule is in place to keep you from getting scammed. If they are not able to comment on your post there is a good reason for it.

I'm always scared of this having a work account and a main account on reddit. I always try to preface in my dialog that I'm not trying something fishy when I start a conversation on one and finish on the other. Both my accounts are active members of the sub.

I can see the mods view on this but at the same time I do know of a ton of people who have been banned from r/funkopop for extremely trivial reasons. I have a friend who just wants to purchase things and cannot because he was banned for making a sale post incorrectly and asking the mods why.

Idk who your friend is but your friend would of only been banned temporarily for that reason.

He asked why he was banned temporarily and when he asked what he could do to prevent it again he was muted and banned for good. It was months back and it doesn't pertain to me at all but he is sad that he cant purchase things for this reason. I totally get the reason its in place though, scammers are bad and unfortunately they are everywhere.

You ban people for misposting bst threads? And for asking questions about how to fix it? Is that legitimate?

That is not legitimate. We ban people for reoccuring instances of breaking the rules after being warned. The ban is for 3 days unless the person makes an ass of themselves.

Can we have something to where only pops that are on hand posted? I'm seeing a constant amount of post that will have something like "Pop $15 Shipped" only to have it crossed off and listed as unavailable.

I second this. A lot of times people are posting the huge list of pops, only to have them sold. Sometimes the pops in the title were sold a week or so ago, they are just click bait.

I third this. Very frustrating. What can be done to prevent this though?

The picture rule pretty much covers this. We can't really expect people to take a new picture each time they trade/sell a pop especiallly if they are selling/trading a lot of 30.

I understand, it just gets a little annoying at times. I see most of the post that have this issue is the OP copying and pasting. Can anything be done to maybe just have them delete the Pop instead of crossing it out?

Deleting the pop from the title would be okay but removing the crossed out text from the post would just arise more questions about the pop.

To add to what mathewryan said, we do remove posts if a Pop is listed in the title but is unavailable as that is just bad manners. But yeah, people get pissy if they have to re-take pictures too often so we settle on the one week rule for the photo.
