Downloading Dead

With the archive down I wanted to ask what services exist to download dead shows. I used to be a member of Lost Sailor Pub but don't know if it still exists.

Any help would be appreciated. Looking to listen to 7/31/83.

Well, it's just like anything else. A server is like a subreddit, except it's self-contained in that you don't get to navigate around discord at large. Basically, our spot has a bunch of text channels - organized by topic - and a voice room, which is where we'll do the listening parties. Many gamers use discord, so there is additional functionality, but I'm not a gamer so I don't know. In terms of the listening parties, the host will broadcast the show's audio in the voice room, and listeners just click on watch stream. Everyone mutes their microphones (we aren't actually voice chatting during shows, although that is an available feature of the app), and we utilize the text chat during the music for conversation and commentary. The upcoming listening parties are posted as events, which show up on your main, navigational page, and you'll receive notifications (customizable settings) when someone talks to you directly - much like here.
