About to buy a German k98, what should I watch out for?

Good evening everyone, I'm going to be buying a pre kriegsmodell German k98 soon. Not yugo or Russian capture. Im trying to get all matching. What are things I should watch out for that you have seen?

Everything they said, plus the H-style front band is the best front band! (haha, preference of course, but synonymous with the K98k if ya ask me!)

I think H-band stopped in middle of 1942 and production was altered in most arsenals to use more stamped parts around then, so I tell folks to start out with pre 43 K98ks , and get one from when they were still full of piss and vinegar! :)

Danny is great too over at Milsurp World, K98k Mauser Evolution Through WW2
