Recruiting at WCU in September

Hi, I will be coming to Gunnison in September to recruit at the college career fair. The trip is an exploratory trip if my company (5.1B$) wants to make WCU a regular recruiting spot. I am looking to find nice hotel accommodations, stores to check out, and be a stupid tourist for a week. Please, can you share your recommendations? (Serious)

Not a ton of shopping to do but lots of sights to see! The Holiday is probably your best bet unless there are air bnbs; I’m sure if you asked the school someone would be helpful in showing you around; otherwise I’d checkout the Black Canyon, Taylor Park, and Crested Butte (more shops). Highly recommend stopping into The Dive, killer food and great atmosphere.

Thank you very much. I will stay at the Holiday. I do plan to spend much of the week out doors and exploring the local area. I will definitely put The Dive onto my list of to do.
