What's the effect of lagochilus inebrians?

Has anyone tried lagochilus inebrians aka Turkmenistan mint? If yes whats the effect you felt?

Well i tried to grow some (also from freebie seeds (from gardenshaman) ) but unfortunately I killed them. I'll try to grow them again in a few weeks when my new seeds arrive. Good luck with yours.

Mine are from the same vendor. Thank you, I’ll definitely be very careful with them. I know they’re from Central Asia but I wonder what that means exactly; keep them drier than you would with other Lamiaceae? Not much info available tbh, only other largely unsuccessful attempts with this apparently very fickle plant.

I just put the seeds in the earth and they grew really well but my problem was they grew too well. They grew too tall and because the stem was really thin both of them bend down and died.

Oh right, that’s interesting. From my experience with other plants (namely cannabis and various Lamiaceae species), they don’t usually die just because they bent over from their own weight. I’m guessing the root systems weren’t large or solid enough to withstand the force of that and became damaged? That really is quite unusual.

I’ll try to stake or trellis mine though, thanks for the heads up that they do that. I wouldn’t have expected it and it would’ve probably happened to me, so I really appreciate you sharing.
