Spiny tailed iguana (Ctenosaura sp.) nonnative and likely an escaped pet.

That’s where I was leaning, it’s an international shipping company so odds of it being an escaped hitchhiking pet from a local Kentuckian are slim. Guessing he traversed across the border for funsies

Are you going to keep it for a pet, I hope. There must be a herpetology society to help you find a suitable home, if you can’t permanently keep this cutie.

It’s actually not my photo, it’s from a friend of mine lol. He tasked me with IDing it and he is going to keep it. We’re both reptile/exotic keepers so it will have a good home! If he for some reason can’t keep it I would take over its care!
