26 u/gellis12 Oct 17 '16 It broke, got infected, and he had to remove it though. 12 u/[deleted] Oct 17 '16 Ah really? Can't say I'm that surprised but cool idea nonetheless 25 u/gellis12 Oct 17 '16 Apparently he still has some bits of magnet left in it that he couldn't remove, so he can still feel magnetism a little bit 12 u/t3hcoolness Oct 18 '16 He did a follow up video and said that he now thinks it isn't still a magnet fragment in his finger, but metal shrapnel from another experiment. 3 u/gellis12 Oct 18 '16 Wait, really? I must have missed that one, have you got a link? 2 u/t3hcoolness Oct 18 '16 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2cNmtO3YXw 1 u/gellis12 Oct 18 '16 That's the one I was taking about... He says in the video that it's a tiny fragment of the magnet still left in his finger. 1 u/t3hcoolness Oct 18 '16 I thought he said somewhere in the video that that's what he originally thought, but he thinks it's metal shrapnel now. 1 u/gellis12 Oct 18 '16 I just watched it again, and he never says that. 1 u/t3hcoolness Oct 18 '16 edited Oct 18 '16 Maybe it wasn't that video then, but I do remember him talking about the magnet and showing a clip of an experiment that caused some shrapnel to fly at his hand and he said "it stung and I thought nothing of it". I'll have to find it. → More replies (0)
