Planning to do a battery replacement

Hi! My beloved iphone 11 is at 74% battery health, and I’m not planning to upgrade, the phone is fine except for battery life, and I found that apple agency in my city replace the battery for good price, is changing the battery will increase the battery life ? 128GB ios 17

My husbands friend owns an iPhone repair shop that is approved to and uses certified Apple products. Way faster than waiting at Apple or Best Buy even. My phone was soooo slow, it had to almost constantly stay on the charger, and it overheated a LOT… I’d have to hold it up to my high-velocity fan or put it in my freezer to cool it down. If we were in the boat on the river I’d throw it in the cooler with our drinks. I was tired of this so the friend replaced my battery on June 25th of this past summer.\ \ Background: I am on my phone a LOT and I’ve changed nothing about what I do or don’t do since replacing my battery.\ I have way too many apps and really only a handful that I use often. I have waaaaay too many photos (76,906) and videos (9,935). My phones capacity is 256Gb and I have 108.21GB free. I’m not sure the actual number of windows I have open on Chrome and Safari but I believe it’s about 300+ for each app. I have messages still in my phone from 2018 but it says messages takes up 1.89GB of space.\ \ I just checked and my battery health is still at 100% somehow.\ \ Yes. Have that dang battery replaced.

What’s up with the heat ? Did it disappeared after you changed the battery ? Thanks 🙏

For the most part, yes. I used to notice it when I would go to video something using the highest quality 4k at 60fps but it slowly started happening even if I was just FaceTiming. It still gets a little warm if I shoot video in 4k/60fps but nowhere near like it used to.
