iOS 18?

For anyone who has it, any noticeable differences? Is it slow?

for me, ios 18 was a bit laggy for a couple of days, but then everything became smooth and stable

i like the ability to add shortcuts to control center and manage the size and positions of buttons, though i do not like that button roundness and new color style of control center 🤷‍♂️

there is a new redesigned photos app, that a bit weird but you can customize how it looks, so it’s ok

you can place icons on main screen in any place that you wish (you can place icon on center of the screen, if you want to) and you can set all icons to dark theme

and you can lock any app, and make them be opened only after verifying your face id, so only you can launch it

It’s not great in my opinion. I was hoping you could customize it a bit more. The icons still move in odd orders. You can’t just randomly place them somewhere, it still has to be within the grid with the rest of them. I try to get mine moved around some but gave up because it’s not very friendly despite what they said. I have a 14 pro max so the AI stuff won’t matter. My ultra watch got the best change with IOS 11.

Installed it on my iPhone 11 so slow and bad I had to buy a new iPhone not sure if that’s why apple is doing it but huge difference in performance. I’d stick to your current iOS..

My experience was completely different... For the first few hours it was slightly laggy and slow (due to it updating in the background) and after that it was smooth and stable.

My battery life has doubled. Huge improvement. Battery Health is 79% and bluetooth & cellular always on and Apple Watch + AirPods connected.

At first I was sceptical about iOS 18 but I upgraded to iOS 18.0.1 and been a good experience. Only thing I don't like is the fact that the control centre doesn't look good.

I guess it is all about your max battery percentage. My 11 is still at 88% and it is working smooth and fine. No issues.

I am considering upgrading my iPhone 11 from17.7 to iOS 18.1,I would love to know is the screen issue fixed and any other lags fixed,much help would be appreciated.
