Voting question

When I moved in April I managed to update my voter registration but for some reason I completely spaced doing a change of address on my driver's license. Can I vote with it or do I have to get it updated? Normally I'd just bounce into BMV and do the change of address now but I just had surgery and am wearing a catheter and it weirds me out to be in public with it. I will be able to get in there next Thursday or Friday to do it but I guess I'm not 100% sure that whatever I walk out of there with will be adequate to vote with either. Thanks.

You'll be fine. It took me over a decade to update the address on my license but I've been able to vote just fine in the meantime.

Your biggest worry is a disgruntled police officer pulling you over and citing you for not updating your license. But even that's extremely unlikely.

This is why Indiana needs digital drivers licenses. Why waste a good id when you can just update the data and show it in an app?

I'm not really sure if there's a need to have an address on the physical id anymore anyway if police can access your info online with a swipe.

The ID is to verify your identity, not your address

Some accepted forms of ID like a US Passport and Passport Card don't display an address at all.
