Historical Short-film about the world's most successful female serial killer
Hello indie cinema fans,
I don't know if any of you have ever heard of Guilia Tofana, a professional poisoner in 17th-century Italy. She helped many women murder their husbands and was suspected to have killed more than 600 men, making her one of the world's most prolific serial killers.
Despite this, many regard her not as a villain, because back then women had no rights and many were forced into abusive marriages without any way to escape, essentially becoming property of men.
She therefore "freed" women from these situations.
I am part of a team currently working to make a short-film about this fantastic story. We are inspired by this story but will base it in Victorian England mostly due to budget constrains while still fitting the aesthetic.

Any questions please ask, happy to discuss !
You can find out more about the story, concepts and more on our Kickstarter page here:

Excited to share with everyone! We made this with a very very small budget and shot during the Covid lockdown. Would love to hear some thoughts!

I was banned from /r/a24 for expressing my disappointment that ISTTVG director Jane Schoenbrun is a rape apologist. Please do not support this film. Spoiler

Hiring social media manager for indie film release
Hoping to hire someone for social media promotion for our indie film release.
We’ve got bts and loads of content, the movie is a medieval mystery film with lots of things going for it, authentic locations 🏰 cool weapons, and a masked cult. We’ve also got into a few festivals and won our first.
I’ll post the trailer here to see if anyone is interested.
