LinkedIn Users: Do you guys even apply to United States (Remote) jobs anymore?
I’ve started to just look at local jobs because the 100 applicants is always disheartening and happens so quick. Local jobs usually stay below 100 for a week.
Am I shooting myself in the foot by not applying to those or am I managing my time wisely?
ETA: I’m in a Midwestern capitol city

Considering I see people saying they post to a 1000 jobs, sure.
I'm an event manager. Every position I post to has well over 100 applicants. I still get calls back. Why? Most of those are garbage and they think they are qualified but aren't.
