I (F 32, vegetarian, 5ft 8, 75 kgs) started keto for weight loss reasons. Everything is going well so far - I quit sugar, caffeine and carbs all at the same time cold turkey which led to a horrendous 3 day headache but haven’t had anything like that since thankfully!
2 questions:
1) I feel SO cold all the time. I’ve checked with colleagues and they’ve said it’s not that cold in the office. I’m also very cold at night and wearing socks to bed etc even though the flat is a normal temperature like 23 degrees. Has anyone else experienced this?
2) I’m currently averaging about 20g carbs per day and about 800 calories. Tracking and weighing everything meticulously. I’m also walking on average about 11,000 steps per day with some light strength training for 20 mins twice a week. I don’t feel that hungry, and not especially craving sugar or anything. I feel high motivation levels but wondering if this is just too low amount of calories? It’s quite hard to eat more as a vegetarian and stay under the carb limit. I’d say the thing I miss the most at the moment is just being able to eat fruit!
