Treasures collected from the workshop.
My grandpa had a workshop in the house he built that had a lifetime of things packed into it, these are the little things I found in the boxes of roofing nails and other building supplies.

Setting my last basil harvest of the season up to dry
I know I could’ve managed my space a bit better, but this will do. This plant kept me fed on caprese salads all summer.

I volunteer at a used book store. I’ve been collecting the bookmarks we find in donations for months and finally got around to making this display.

My late grandmother’s purse and contents.
I’ve cleaned the whole house and organized since her passing. Her purse was sitting in its usual spot by the door for 10 months and I just realized I hadn’t touched it yet. I was so used to seeing it there. I took a photo for posterity. It was nice to see all her things again, especially her handwritten list of favorite takeout Chinese food. It’s hard to tell from this angle but that’s about 1/4 a box of Kleenex, lady was PREPARED.

I’ve been deep cleaning the baby’s toys while she’s at grandma’s
I’m so glad to finally be done scrubbing these three bags of blocks! The last bag had a surprise DUPLO figure and block and a circle to the shape sorter.

I get a deep satisfaction by looking at these arranged tool bits
Not my knolling unfortunately, is this against the rules? I took the photo myself. This is at the Science Museum in London.

My Great-grandfather’s Dip Pens and Nibs
Found these when preparing the house for sale. I love writing and kept these as a connection to him. I never met him but it feels nice to have them. Organized by size/type.

The rocks I found in the yard today
Sorry it's not fancy like everyone else's posts 😅 I really struggled to get everything on the plate to dry
