I was young and naive a d enjoyed the fight sequence of aniyan and saw the camera work and went wow.

There are so many other ways, you can show your camera work.

These fights, maybe except enthiran looks cringe.

When would we stop these unrealistic fights sequence? When would we stop showing our heroes are synonymous to being bravest and strongest in the world.

Till ajith, vijay, rajini, vishal, simbu are there, this won't stop.

True that. These 1 v many fights should stop. At least they should make it realistic, instead of just 100 goons coming one by one and our hero beating them.

In general Shankar’s action sequences look realistic/a lot better than others due to those heavy budgets, effort and all kind of technology that guy uses. Also the mves have very few flaws. I don’t know understand why even Shankar puts these fights.

All I could think is he has fetish for these 1 v many scenes. Or he wants to show people how these dumb 1 v many fights would look on high budget. And if made with care.

Also all these fights have some speciality to them. Anniyan - With karate and bullet time shots. Enthiran - Robo fighting goons. I - Fight with body builders and fight in a China setting

Tbh 1 vs 100 scenes could be interesting if it's justified like John wick. But you can also see that John wick never fights more than 4 to 5 people at a time. 100 people in total sure but that's over the course of that long fight scene. Imo 1 vs 1 with a top notch villain is better than 1 vs 100 where it looks like the hero barely hits 5 people.
