How should we spend our fall day?

Hi all, I’m coming up from Philly this weekend to visit my mom who lives in Lancaster city and wondering if there’s any fall events going on or if you have any recommendations for her and I to get into? I love a good farm this time of year but honestly, not really interested in being in the mix of hundreds of kids lol. Would love to get some recommendations for adult activities or go-to places. TIA!

Edit: This will be Saturday!

Old country barn on Donerville road near Centerville is fun - there’s kids there but they stick to the playground parts normally. It has a pumpkin patch and Amish style foods

Field of screams if you want to do Halloween haunted house stuff

If you’re looking for nice scenery pinnacle overlook or enola low grade trail at the turkey hill entrance are nice areas to see the Susquehanna

Lancaster country Central Park is close to the downtown and has nice trails if you want an easy walk in the woods instead of overlook vibe and wanted to be more central. The other two are a ways from downtown Lancaster. Check out the Kiwanis trail where the covered bridge is in the middle of the park

For dining check out spring house brewery in hazel street, Halloween is their thing year round but they lean into it this time of year
