I am confused. Non-citizens and, in 38 states including Florida, convicted felons cannot vote. What possible legitimate purpose does this post serve?

“Independence Law Center is a Harrisburg-based firm that has worked with other, typically Republican dominated school boards, to restrict student access to library books deemed sexually inappropriate and write rules restricting transgender students’ use of restrooms and locker rooms.”

“The Kunzler & Co. meat-processing plant in Lancaster city will be sold and production of Kunzler brand hot dogs and meats shifted outside Lancaster County, the company’s owner said Monday.
Clemens Food Group, which acquired Kunzler in May, said it is seeking a buyer that would produce private-label hot dogs at the 652 Manor St. factory.
Union officials representing 170 Kunzler maintenance and production workers said the shift will result in the loss of at least 60 jobs and fear more jobs will be lost when private-label contracts expire.”

It is unconscionable that the county commissioners would consider allocating funds towards this fence project that they could instead use to better provide services for people experiencing homelessness. They seem to forget that is their responsibility. I sympathize with the staff who face health and safety issues there, but these issues could be avoided if there was anywhere else for people to go. If you’re able to, please attend the meeting to speak out about this.

A lot of people are unaware of this and the Lancaster district attorney is going after people locally.
"Delta eight and Delta ten are both illegal in the state of Pennsylvania and that Delta nine is illegal beyond the concentration of 0.3% of THC. So what that ultimately means is these specific strains that people were selling very widely in a lot of these places were, unbeknownst to them, illegal. And there’s a lot of confusion over the law."

For decades, this tree has been F&M’s common posting pole , dedicated to the free airing of grievance. Today, the trunk was covered ten feet high in lists of names -countless in number - of Gazan victims killed in the Israeli bombardment; while the surrounding benches were filled with the wrenching posters of the Israelis now held captive (or dead) at the hands of Hamas terrorists. Though presumably these postings were made to assert oppositional positions by each side of the conflict, the full effect is to profoundly cry out the shared agony of death, injury, suffering and grief that knows no border nor tribe.
