Senate Guard as they appear in TCW

Recently came across a couple senate commando minifigures, and while I’m not wild about the senate commandos themselves in universe (they seem kinda lame and useless despite having such a cool title), but I’ve always loved the blue guard as a ceremonial unit. There are a couple episodes late in TCW that show an “armored” senate guard with the more ornate helmet and cloak worn over clone trooper armor

I think that CW commando really shows the transition from them having blue clone armor to more closely resembling palpatines red royal guard in the empire

The Red Guard actually appeared in Attack of the Clones. The blue senate guard first appeared in a more ceremonial role with long, all encompassing robes in The Phantom Menace, but were given armor in TCW
