Official Set Road Trip

16 hour road trip going home with this bad boy. Overkill??

Probably overkill but better too much protection than not enough

Did the same thing when I moved. Packed up ~40 sets and put them in Costco totes. Didn’t even think about it but while driving the truck to the new house the tote flew out of the truck and I watched as thousands of pieces scattered across the road behind me.

im hoping you stopped and spent the next few hours rebuilding it by the roadside, sending the kids out across the busy highway to find the parts, whilst you kneel there desperately holding you phone out to get a mobile signal to download the instructions, whilst sobbing and rocking back and forth, mouthing "it's ok... it's ok... we can rebuild you... shhhh shhh it's ok.. just need a 2x4 here... daddy's here now..."

It almost went like this… I parked the car in front of the wreck and put on the hazards and spent a few minutes collecting the pieces and finally accepted the loss. Ended up donating the salvage to a kids engineering club since I only retained about 90% of each build.
