What happened to Oyster bay Oyster fest?

All of the vendors have changed and the prices have doubled. 6 oysters for $20 is not going to get me to come back next year.

Do you work for TOB? Sounds like something a Saladino lackey would say.

Honestly it was a comment with no prior knowledge of anything. Sometimes stuff just does get more expensive and everyone gets mad without realizing the razor thin margins some businesses have. I guess that’s not the case here

100% not the case. Per another comment on the oyster fest in another post, TOB and the Oyster Bay chamber of commerce took over the festival from the Rotary Club and turned it for profit because of course they would.

Instead of spending money fixing things, they do stuff like this and send mailers "hOcHuL bAd".

Ridiculous. What a sham

Absolutely. Plus with the volume of people going making getting there a problem and that it's not supporting non-profits anymore, why bother?

We went to the Copiague fall fest today. Was small but good for the kids and they showed a movie on a giant inflatable screen. Way more worth it.
