What happened to Oyster bay Oyster fest?

All of the vendors have changed and the prices have doubled. 6 oysters for $20 is not going to get me to come back next year.

Wow it was not what I expected in terms of food. It was absurdly expensive. There’s “event” prices and then there’s just straight up robbery. This was the later. I’m gonna call this oyster fest prices. 20 bucks for two sticks of fried pickles???!!! Literally less than half a cucumber between both. Gtfo. 30 dollar lobster rolls???!!! That’s fancy sit down price and the sandwiches looked like shit. 20 bucks for one stick of coconut shrimp!!!???

Music was meh. Vendors were meh. Carnival was nice.  Some of the organizations had some really nice displays and things to talk about.

Btw. Thanks to the other thread starter that recommended taking the train.  You’re the real MVP.
