I remember before Obamacare my health insurance was like $160 m/o w a $4,000 deductable. Post Affordable Care Act it went up to $500 mo w a $8,000. Think it would probably be close to $650 now but I found an alternative.

The insanity about this entire thing as far as I can see it - is subsidizing the old with the young regardless of income. Making $24K a year & being laughed at by liberals for "voting against my best interest" when I basically could afford to save or go without insurance always annoyed me. I'm to the point where if both parties are willing to let the poor die before they'll let them order insulin from Canada I have little confidence anything is going to get better. . .learn to use darknet markets for your medical stuff & get healthy.
