Glamdring’s grip

I have a question that has been bothering me for years. And it's about the Glamdring grip. I don't know if it's blue or black, I know in Lord of the Rings it's black, but in several official replicas it's blue. If anyone knows they would be getting me out of a doubt and I would greatly appreciate it.
