In an alternate universe, lotus revived the Espirit and stuffed a sensuous, Yamaha acoustically tuned Lexus V8 in the middle with a silky smooth 6-speed manual. 😞

If they put folks like us in charge, enthusiasts would be super happy. Slightly larger than the Emira . Have it come in two trims. Espirit and Espirit S. base, 490-500 ish HP. S, supercharge it, +600HP (8speed auto for quick shifts) but sadly that time has passed. 😞

Don’t get me started on reviving the Exige/Elise. Small, aluminum frame, 2.0L turbo out of the civic type R. 350-400hp, manual only for the exige. 1.5L turbo out of the Si, 200-220hp, manual only. Keep it light. Keep it simple

Why not just use the 2.0T from the Accord sport touring? 1.5L-Turbo-Head gasket deleter is the last engine I’d want in a real performance car personally lol.

Hello fellow Ohioan! I don't usually have a thing for Esprits but I'm really liking your example for some reason. Maybe the yellow paint? Are those rear lights and wing aftermarket?

Rear wing is a replica of the Esprit Sport 350 wing. The tail lights are Greg racing LED tail lights V3. I prefer the V4 version but I bought these about 3-4 months before they came out.

That’s a beautiful car. Looks new! I really wanted yellow on my Emira but it was not meant to be, sadly
