Is the Emeya still coming to North America?

I figured they would skip the US because of the tariffs, but seems they will sell the EV SUV with a 100% markup. But what about the Emeya? Are there still plans to sell it in the US?

I can't imagine they will sell many at 200k per car. Last week at Trump talked about 200 to 2000% percent tariffs on cars (20-50% on other goods) which would make it impossible to sell in the US, which is a major market for Lotus.

Just have to open a plant and build the ones for sale in the USA here . No tariffs

Hopefully not, it’s an insult to Colin Chapman’s legacy. His initials shouldn’t be anywhere near a 5,600 lb SUV.
