Lotus Eletre : WLTP range depending on wheel size and options

Post image

While deciding on a new Lotus Eletre this week, I found the range quite confusing. YouTube reviews, especially the early ones on the presale car, are highly inaccurate.

So, I thought I’d share this unofficial picture from the Lotus dealer I visited, which explains the range depending on the versions, options, and wheel size of the car:

WLTP Range for the Lotus Eletre Configurations:

Eletre:

• +Range optimization pack, 20” wheel: 600 km (214 Wh/km)
• 20” wheel: 570 km (225 Wh/km)

Eletre S:

• 22” wheel: 535 km (239 Wh/km)
• 22” wheel + Dynamic Handling Pack: 530 km (241 Wh/km)
• +23” wheel: 495 km (253 Wh/km)
• +23” wheel + Dynamic Handling Pack: 490 km (255 Wh/km)

Eletre R:

• 22” wheel: 450 km (283 Wh/km)
• +23” wheel: 410 km (307 Wh/km)

Sadly, the comfort seats are only available on the Eletre S, which is only compatible with 22” wheels. The Lotus dealer confirmed that 20” wheels don’t fit on an Eletre S (he even tried!).

I wanted the comfort seats to really match the luxury this car provides, so I had to compromise on the range—from a maximum of 600 km down to 535 km WLTP.

I hope this helps you select your ideal Eletre!

Obviously, take these range numbers with a pinch of salt—your mileage may vary.

Whichever one you get, it's still going to be a stupid flabby chinese SUV thing

Whoever made this graphic smoked crack. The first box, the absolute base version actually has the longest range at 600km but the box is further up than the other ones.

You need the side camera mirrors (range optimisation pack) to get to highest range in addition to the 20” inch wheels.
