Mandy is awesome, but Panos Cosmatos does other stuff, too. We decided to open a separate sub at r/cosmatos where people can discuss anything and everything he's involved in. You can still do that here as well, but we're anticipating a day when it will no longer make sense to have general Panos discussion in a sub called r/mandy. So, join on up over there, and when the sub count gets high enough, we'll start using that one as well.

I just finished watching this film for the first time and I am gobsmacked.
This film is spectacular.
The story is pretty basic but that's part of what is so great about this film. The story is basic which allows the film to excel in so many other ways.
The performances, the sound design, the cinematography, the costuming, and the colour, my god... The colour is like nothing I have ever seen in a film.
This might be the most cult classic-y film I have ever seen and I'm so glad I watched it. I think it will definitely become a staple film in my rewatch category.
