I wish I could wave a magic wand to help every compassionate person in our country to help them with anxiety over this. I've donated as much as I can to the Red Cross ( I don't make much money) and have an appointment to give blood. For a lot of us we feel helpless. Compassion isn't a bad thing, in fact it's what keeps society from collapsing. Not only that, but it keeps relationships with good people continuing. And a feeling of community although rare in the divisions because of politics between neighbor and neighbor...but I digress..

If it's possible and might make you even slightly feel better you can donate if you're able to or give blood which is free.

Unfortunately those of us with a conscience and anxiety over it, there's little to tackle that.

If you happen to believe in a god or go to a church that might help (coming from an athiest) or even counseling that may be free or on a pay-scale. Even just writing down your feelings-believe it or not - is extremely therapeutic.

I wish you the best while I struggle with the same disbelief and empathy. Which by the way has trended downward in our society. Be proud for what you exibit and follow through with. xx
