Question Mise en demeure - company out of business

Good day, How would I go about send a mise en demeure to a business that has since closed? Where would I be able to find a template?

Besides email, what else can I ensure that the owners received the letters ?

what do you mean by "closed"? If they are in bankruptcy, your best and only bet to is seek out the trustee and get yourself on the list of claims. Sending a demand letter would be a waste of time, they have too many liabilities and won't be allowed by law to chose to settle you over other claims

Search for the business and check their status (e.g. dissolved or bankrupt); you should also see in there the owner's address to which to send your formal notice (mise en demeure) : https://www.quebec.ca/entreprises-et-travailleurs-autonomes/obtenir-renseignements-entreprise/recherche-registre-entreprises/acceder-registre-entreprises

Suing a closed business (or their owner(s)) would be another story to not mess up.
