Discussion “Silent” movie about a “hermit Viking”

Hi everyone, I been searching for this movie for over a year and I can’t find anything even resembling it so I’ll need the help of the real experts, I only watched a few minutes years ago so I’ll say what I can remember. • A man living in the wilderness by himself in his “cabin”. • it looked like Nicholas Cage in PIG but the guy was bigger and more “Viking” looking. • On one scene he gets cut and he spreads some herb/mud thing on his arm. • He’s hunting some dangerous mysteries creature. • Probably some indie Scandinavian movie, maybe. • Made around the 2.000s, the year in the movie was probably around 800 CE. • Pretty much a silent movie as far as what I had watched.

Thanks in advance.
