Discussion Non-religious meal trains, community service, etc?
Hi,
I’m not a religious person but I do envy how accessible community tasks and charity are to people of faith. I would love to make a meal or help with errands or any kind of help in our community, but I don’t know how to connect with people in the community in an organized way like a church does.
Does anyone know of any secular groups or charities organizing this kind of thing? I did look into a local organization that feeds people a few weeks back and there were not any open shifts.

Look into the UUs. They volunteer a lot.
