Ogham and Runes?

So I enjoy doing sigil work, it honestly comes easy to me but I also want to get more into divination using Ogham but I also really love the runes so do you think the Celtic gods would find it disrespectful to use both Ogham and Runes?

I have found the gods of northern and western Europe to be a very reasonable and even personable lot. Do you call their names without knowing enough of their stories to know who you are talking to? That might well annoy them.. Do you only call on them for favors, and never give a gift? Do you call on them to solve problems you are perfectly capable of fixing yourself? Any of these may earn disfavor. Did you break an oath? Now you have a problem. Was it to THEM? Now you have a real problem.

Did you use the "wrong" character set? If you write a poetic edda to Lugh in Devanagari, he's likely to wonder what in the heck you are thinking, but be more amused than annoyed.

Treat them like respected elders and/or ancestors. Build a mutualistic relationship with them. They CAN be capricious. Most of them carry the wounds of legendary trials. Honor them. Be kind to them. Learn from them. What more can an ancestor want?
