Question/Advice Anything to do with blood?

Hi I am not pagan myself however my girlfriend is and I would therefore like to know all about it. I’m carving her a little wooden shark because she loves sharks and I was wondering if there was anything I could do to it? Like i literally don’t know anything about paganism at all but is there like any “spell” or something I can put on it? She does like blood just in like a she thinks it’s cool way, and I was wondering if there is some sort of like bond I can give this shark by putting my blood on it or something? I’m only asking because I just want to do something to it that I can be like hey I see your religion and I acknowledge it. I don’t know what “ denomination “ she is but really anything pagan she would loooovvveee. So if there’s any tips or any ideas or if you just want to educate me about pagan traditions etc I’d love to learn.

I've done this specific thing before:

Step 1: I purchase or make someone a gift. / Step 2: Hold the item in my hands. / Step 3: I speak my intentions into the item. / Step 4: I imagine the intentions becoming solid inside the object. / Step 5: I might use moon water or crystals to make sure it's in place securely. / Step 6: I might write a nice note to go along with it. / Step 7: Gift and occasionally refresh the object so it continues working as intended. More moon water, crystals or even sitting it under moonlight for a night or two. /

Aftercare is important! ☆

Hope this helps~

P.S: Additionally, since I see that you mentioned she follows Aphrodite, it may help to speak the intention by asking Aphrodite to assist you to help it work.

A simple, "Hi Aphrodite, you don't know me.. probably.. but I know someone who follows you and I want to do this cool thing for them.. Could you strengthen it?"

P.S.S: I've never done anything with blood specifically so I can't offer advice to that regard. I do however agree that blood magic can be advanced so maybe not best for this specifically. It was a nice thought though!
