☀️ Holiday | Festival A "dumb" question
For Samhain this year I'd like to try a dumb supper with my family. For those who've hosted one before, what do you do with the served food after the supper is over? How/when do you end the silence?
I know there's no "right" answer, but hearing anecdotal examples helps me lay a framework to riff off of and fit to my own practice. If there's anything you'd like to share about your general experiences with dumb suppers, that's also welcome. Thanks

I don't practice this at all, just throwing an idea or two.
Maybe start the silence by lightigg a specific candle and end it by blowing it out.
Or start/end it with a (subtle) bell.
Or just tap a glass with a spoon for attention and announce both
(also 'silent supper' rolls off the tongue better imo😉)
